Experiencing a new sport

Hey, to the class of "62"

This blogging thing is really cool. I love the fact that we can communicate to so many classmates at this time in our life. Just to know Susie Smith is in Pakistan, now how amazing is that. I would be a little nervous and my next plan of action would be to get the next flight home.

Now to update you on my life. I live very close the the Canadian border and have decided to take up the sport of curling. To my surprise I found it lots of fun and quite difficult. It's a great way to enjoy winter indoors and still be a bit chilled. This is my 3rd yr. and feel I can play with some confidence. The Canadians are great people, infact they are us. (except the money thing, good for them, bad for me.) Any ways, I am on the ice twice a week trying to slide, sweep and shoot and after the game you must socialize with the other teams. Now how tough is that.........

In the spring, summer and fall I play the awful game of golf. Yup, I never thought that would hook me as much as it did. Its the best game because you never as good as you want to be. And it has the tendency to make you go crazy. You may be wondering why I am telling you these things.....well honestly I never thought when I was in high school I would be doing any of these things. I have always loved sports activities and when we were in high school we (females )never got the gym as often as the males. It is good to see times have changed.

Sooo, what is happening with you........
